Was definitely cool to see you in the Sketch collab, that ancient and renowned yearly ritual around these parts, I wasn't expecting that. Solid year this year, and solid resolutions for the next one!

As for the potential username change: I hope you don't rush that decision, current one's really pretty memorable. And easy to spell. Even if not the shortest.

Looking forward to seeing what goodness you're upto 2023! And if you do get that band going: hope you post some audio up on NG. ;)

leap year moment

Glad you enjoyed the sketch collab too, I had some fun working on my part! Here’s to next year for sure.

Also glad you think my current username is memorable. I just feel like it would lead one to believe that I’m an actual rapper when I’m really not lol. Musically I’m actually a better singer/songwriter and hope to one day get on the drums.

I just went with STRapperMMVIII so people could find me easier. It’s slightly more unique, helps with the fact that I’m not great at coming up with usernames (since it’s just a compressed version of my current username with my year of birth in Roman numerals on the side), and also if my birth year in roman numerals is too hard to spell you can always refer to me simply as STRapper, which would be my username here, contrary to YouTube n shit.

Will definitely consider this decision further though, and as of now I’m actually starting to find a possible match for the band, and I’m being promised a drumset for my birthday which is around the bend, so all is well in the end! :D

Yeaah, that's how we get around the yearly discrepancy. :) Every four years just count those extra 1/4 days as an additional day... never really considered every year is actually a little longer though, must mess with clocks.

That is true yeah! Somewhere deep in my mind I probably still do consider you a rapper. XD It's just inherent. But STRapperMMVIII's still a rapper name!

STRapper's definitely simple. :) Sounds gangsta too. Strapper. Like: strapped. Like carrying a weapon. Thugging out PLUS rapping, kinda.

Anyway all of these names are good, I'm just attached to the first one I suppose.

Sounds promising! A full drumset's a big thing too!!! Just have a marching drum and a djembe over here. The djembe's fun too but difficult with conventional rock beats, you get into more tribal patterns somehow no matter what you're trying to drum to.

Nothing really compares to a real set!
