@stevetherapper you're in luck then, a 10" graphics tablet is like 50 USD these days. granted you'll have to get used to it as it's not entirely the same as drawing a mouse but that can be said for most tools

@stevetherapper that's fine, if you're comfortable with it then there's not much need to change to a different method. i'm no artist or animator so you should take what i say with a grain of salt, but if you're interested, you could ask around the art/animation forums about whether there was a difference using a tablet over a mouse, at least in terms of speed if nothing else
personally i could never use a mouse for too long because my hands would ache after enough time (carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome is no joke) which is why i brought it up - a pen is much lighter and more "natural" in that regard
